Phil Storey

Since joining the Marshalls team in 1994 Phil has built nearly 30 years’ experience in technical, specification and design roles and is currently Head of Design and Engineering for Marshalls Landscape Division. In this role, Phil leads a multi disciplined team, delivering a range of value-add design services which include pavement engineering, bespoke CAD modelling, landscape visualisation, BIM collaboration and street furniture design.

Through his industry experience, Phil balances design and engineering know-how with the commercial challenges faced by both customer and project. An ability to develop solutions that target time, cost, and carbon benefits through sound design and engineering experience are key to this.

It might be a clever way of blending different materials together (particularly old and new), or a unique design feature within a bespoke piece that catches the eye. Even just a well thought out build detail which might seem insignificant to the wider space can be the difference between a good landscaping project and a great one.”
