Perforated Facing Bricks
A perforated brick has holes running through it top to bottom, and Marshall’s perforated facing bricks feature three of these vertical perforations. Our sand faced perforated bricks are available in colours from greys and blues to buffs and creams – and of course the classic red facing brick.
Why choose perforated facing bricks?
The holes provide better strength to homes and structures as they fill with mortar, securing the bricks to one another. These bricks can be laid with the holes facing up or down as the holes protrude straight through from one side to the other, meaning little difference to laying.
Perforated facing bricks also weigh less than frogged alternatives, meaning better production rates – so you can lay more bricks in any given period.
Similar to extruded or wirecut clay bricks, Marshalls’ perforated facing bricks are made from concrete which is lower cost, has better frost resistance and a lower carbon footprint.
