Project Brief

Contractors, Andrew Scott Ltd worked on a new RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) lifeboat station in Portishead, Somerset which included a 60m long launch ramp, a low water launch area, and a beach access staircase as well as the lifeboat station itself.

Civils and Drainage Solution

The beach access staircase was built using Marshalls Civils and Drainage's Redi-Rock™ cobblestone modular walling, this not only created an attractive natural stone appearance, but helped improve the safety and access to the beach for those wishing to use it.
