Development at the Wild Pheasant Hotel aimed to transform the existing building in terms of design quality, functionality and aesthetic appeal. As part of a Welsh Assembly scheme, the upgrade of the hotel needed to provide a benchmark for hotels in the area along the A5 tourist route.
For Marshalls the task was to provide both the internal flooring surface and external landscaping materials to reflect the prestigious nature of the hotel. Marshalls were required to provide a combined product solution for the whole development, complete with drainage and natural stone.
The transformation of the existing internal and external environment needed to project a high quality stylish image, to ensure that tourists will want to revisit the hotel in the future. The Wild Pheasant would also need to be admired by other hotels in the area, to encourage a higher standard for the local tourism and hospitality sector.
Marshalls’ range of specialists collaborated with engineers and architects Graham Bromilow Associates to provide the required materials. Honed-finish natural stone was provided for the internal flooring and diamond-sawn stone provided the required aesthetic appeal to the external area of the hotel landscape.
Additional products supplied by Marshalls included Conservation Kerb and Edging, Tegula Concrete Sett Paving and Boulevard Spherical Bollards.
