NBS specification: Q10 112, Q10 10

Although they all serve a similar purpose, to separate surfaces and areas, kerbs, edging and coping stones all serve slightly different purposes.
Kerbs are:
Typically made from concrete and placed along roads and pavements to provide structural support and act as a barrier, raising one surface above another
Designed to control the flow of traffic, direct water, improve drainage, and prevent road edges from breaking or eroding
Meanwhile, edging stones are:
Used in gardens, pathways and lawns to create boundaries and serve an aesthetic purpose
Often made from a wider variety of materials than kerbs, including natural stone, brick or concrete
They are not as large as kerb stones and are mainly used for decorative effects; however, they can reduce soil erosion and manage foot traffic
Marshalls' kerbs and edging solutions are available in a range of materials, styles and colours.
As well as looking the part, these products are made to exacting standards and have received several key accreditations and credentials, highlighting their quality. These include:
BSI ISO 9001
BSI ISO 14001
BSI ISO 45001
