Marshalls Hard Landscaping Guarantee - Terms & Conditions
As a manufacturer and supplier of high quality natural stone and concrete and hard landscaping products, we are committed to standing behind the integrity of our products.
This guarantee only applies to “Marshalls” branded hard landscaping products installed at a residential address by a Marshalls Register Accredited Landscape Contractor
1. Guarantee Period.
The guarantee period is ten (10) years commencing from the project completion date.
All guarantee requests must be submitted within 28 days of the project completion date, along with proof of purchase to evidence which Marshalls products have been supplied. We reserve the right to reject any guarantee requests where (i) proof of purchase is not provided; and/or (ii) a guarantee request is submitted outside of the 28 day registration period.
2. What we cover.
In the unlikely event that our products are defective, we will repair or replace the products provided you notify us within the Guarantee Period and in compliance with clause 4 below.
The maximum amount that we will be liable for under this guarantee is limited to the value of the Marshalls branded products supplied to your project, as evidenced on your proof of purchase. In the event of a claim, Marshalls will try to provide replacement products in the same colour, pattern and finish as originally installed; however, due to product ranges changing, batch variations, and the natural weathering of the existing products, we cannot promise to find an exact match.
3. What we do not cover.
This guarantee does not cover jointing compounds, or any damage or deterioration caused by:
- accident or misuse;
- heavy goods vehicles;
- natural weathering and other aesthetical issues
- lack of maintenance;
- normal wear and tear;
- impact damage;
- commercial use;
- staining caused by any substance or organic matter;
- movement, expansion or contraction of the ground or materials on which the products are laid, due to changes in the climate, tree-root activity, underground drains, mine-workings, earthquakes and other natural disasters and/or other construction works;
- installation defects and replacement works; or
- incorrect use of sealants and/or cleaning agents.
Some of our products (particularly concrete products) may experience colour fading and white staining on the product face. This is a natural phenomenon called efflorescence and is not detrimental to the performance of the product and therefore Marshalls cannot take any responsibility if this occurs.
4. Notifying us of an issue.
In the event of a defect arising which may be covered by this guarantee, you must submit full details to our Group Technical Services Team within 30 days of discovering it (the “Defect Discovery Period”):

Upon receipt of your claim notification, a Marshalls representative will be in touch to arrange a site visit (if required) and request any further details to assess your claim.
We will not consider any claims that arise or are notified after the expiry of the Guarantee Period.
5. Other important terms
The company providing this guarantee is Marshalls Mono Limited (company number: 509579) and our registered office address is Landscape House, Premier Way, Lowfields Business Park, Elland, HX5 9HT.
The guarantee is personal to you and is not transferable.
The terms of this guarantee are governed by English law, and the courts of England have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes or claims.
This guarantee is offered as an additional benefit by Marshalls and does not affect your statutory rights.
