Building Sand

Marshalls aggregates can supply Dry Screened Grit Sand and Fill Sand from both our Howley Park and Fletcher Bank sites.

Dry Screened Sand, also referred to as sharp sand or block paving sand is passed through a vibrating screen or a drum that filters sand by size, and frees it from larger particles. This particular sand is ideal for flagging and block paving jobs alike.

Fill sand, also known as ‘dust’, is more commonly used as a blinding layer or bedding material.

Both of these materials can be delivered in bulk or alternatively collected from our Howley Park and Fletcher Bank sites.

All of the Marshalls building sand range meets British Standard regulation requirements.
