Further to the Highways Agency’s Interim Advice Note 117/08 requiring certification of all combined kerb and drainage products by 31 March 2009, Marshalls is pleased to confirm that Marshalls Beany and Mini Beany products are fully compliant with Highways Agency requirements for combined kerb and drainage systems for use on motorway and major trunk roads and has the following certifications:
  1. BSI Kitemark®*
  2. Marshalls has exceeded the minimum load classification requirement, attaining E600 classification
  3. As part of this certification, Marshalls has demonstrated compliance with the Highways Agency’s Product Certification requirements which includes:
    • Initial Type Testing - independent third party tests identified within BS EN 1433
    • Factory Production Control - ensuring the product is to a consistent quality
    • Audit (Product Certification) - compliance with BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality management systems requirements.

In addition, these products are produced at a Marshalls manufacturing site that, as well as compliance with BS EN 9001:2000, is also accredited to:
  • ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certification
  • OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Management Certification
