Working in the community and with charity partners
Our approach to social value is focused on engaging with community and education projects, through industry engagement programmes, charity partnerships, and employee volunteering.
From our Early Careers engineering apprenticeships to the work we do with further education colleges, we engage directly with young people in the construction industry. Whether it’s donating concrete bricks to the National Housebuilding Council (NHBC) Tamworth Training Hub for their groundworker apprenticeship programme, running mock interviews with bricklaying students in Leeds, or hosting students at one of our sites, we are proud to support the development of our industry.
Along with supporting our national charity partner, The Trussell Trust, our teams also volunteer for local charity and community projects. Through charitable, community and product donations, we support local community projects, including schools, an animal sanctuary, grassroots sports clubs, and a homeless shelter construction project.
