The new visitor centre at Sherwood Forest was opened by Mike Dilger, the wildlife presenter from BBC’s the one show on the 4th of October.
Marshalls supplied the paving and also contributed to the fund in order for the centre to further develop the external landscape.
Sherwood Forest, which cost more than £5 million, completed in August 2018 after a lengthy re build. The site sees visitors from far and wide all coming to see the world famous area which now includes a shop, café and amphitheatre.
The re build is hoping to encourage further tourism and will help to boost the local economy.
