Marshalls is proud to announce that they are backing the ‘Made in Britain’ campaign, conceived to assist consumers in making decisions which support British manufacturing.

Marshalls, who has a number of manufacturing facilities across England, Scotland and Wales, will be initially displaying the logo on their stunning Coach House, Heritage and Firedstone paving products.

The creation of the marquee follows research that 67% want a seal of approval that products were made here. It also showed that almost half of British shoppers did not know which brands could claim they were made in Britain.

Marshalls Group Marketing Director Chris Harrop said: “British manufacturing has been in decline for the last 30 years, and as a proud British Manufacturer of the UK’s largest range of paving, we were only too happy to join the campaign to support the sector.

“Research has shown that 91% of consumers would prefer to buy British goods, however it also suggests that almost half of British shoppers do not know which brands could claim they were made in Britain, and although we would never suggest that people should only buy British goods, we do believe that people should be given the option to make an educated decision.”
