With improved meeting space, better facilities and more displays and samples available, the Design Space is open to Architects, Specifiers and their Clients.

The biggest change to the space is the meeting room, which is now more private with a brick instead of glass wall, and full soundproofing.

CIRIA were the first to use the newly revamped space and held their summer reception there in mid-July. An events programme is now being planned, to launch in the autumn.

Mark Hicks, Trading Director for Marshalls, said:
“Our Design Space in London has been open for over 4 years and has become a popular place for people looking to get out of the office to develop new ideas and plans. The renovations have made a great difference to the facilities and everyone who has visited since has been impressed by the improvements.

On hearing we had re-opened, Ivan Bennett, Design Consultant, said:
‘I always enjoy visiting the Design Space, so hard to resist opening all the drawers and touching such a wonderful array of natural and cast materials. It’s an oasis of calm in London, with its light studio space and courtyard beneath.”

Located in Clerkenwell in London, the Design Space is a place for architects, specifiers and their clients to use for meetings, inspiration and discussions with Marshalls experts. For more information visit the website.
