In March 2019, we launched a two-year partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan is a charity that provides emotional, physical and financial support to cancer patients and their families. Over the course of our partnership, we’re aiming to raise at least £200,000 in much needed funds.

On Wednesday 18 September, as part of our fundraising campaign, the Marshalls Executive team are walking a gruelling 26-mile sponsored walk. Starting at our site in Ramsbottom and finishing at Landscape House in Halifax, the Executive team are aiming to raise £20,000. This fantastic sum of money can help fund over 700 hours of vital nursing care from a Macmillan nurse.

Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. There are 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK today, and this is set to rise to 4 million in the next ten years. Macmillan Cancer Support is the UK’s leading cancer support charity giving personal, one to one care and support to thousands of people every day. Almost entirely funded by donations, they simply cannot support the growing number of people who need them. Macmillan have a huge task on their hands to ensure they fulfil their ambition to help everyone living with cancer. They can’t do this alone, and that’s where we come in.

We’re asking you to support this ambitious challenge and make every single step of the 26 mile trek worthwhile. Please help us reach the £20,000 target by donating to via our Just Giving page.

Thank you in anticipation of your support!
