Chelsea Flower Show 2019 opens on 21st May and the Marshalls team are busy behind the scenes building this year’s trade stand garden.
This year we’re celebrating our heritage as a strong British brand, with a design created in-house by our CAD Manager Johanna Elvidge, who is also studying for an MA in Landscape Architecture.
For design inspiration Johanna has looked to the history of the Marshalls brand, the products which we currently manufacture in the UK, and the wider business of Marshalls, including worldwide interests, which support what we are able to offer here in the UK.
With Marshalls foundations based in quarrying stone, the majority of the paving will be our iconic Scoutmoor, also used to create a stone bench which frames the Made in Britain corner.
The steps on the stand are created from single blocks and were made in our ethically managed quarry in India. The imposing sweeping steps illustrate the capabilities and quality of the Marshalls bespoke service.
The display pod features a sedum roof to reflect the SuDS arm of the Marshalls business.
Chelsea Flower Show runs from Tuesday 21st to Saturday 25th May. Marshalls will be located on Main Avenue at Trade Stand 332.
