Marshalls Natural Stone recently supported the West Yorkshire Police Service by providing a commemorative memorial which has been placed in memory of their valued colleagues who have died whilst in service.

The monument has been placed at Carr Gate police training complex in Wakefield, and the project was led by Special PC Lisa Drayton, and supported by Superintendant David Lunn.

Dave Stanger, Marshalls Natural Stone National Commercial Manager, said: “Helping to support the local community is a key aim for Marshalls, and being able to make something which pays tribute local heroes is a huge honour.

“We are proud to have been able to help, in a small way, to make a big difference.”

Special Police Constable, Lisa Drayton said: “This monument gives all those families and friends in the force something back to acknowledge our remembrance and gratitude of all those who have lost their lives in service for the force.

“We are eternally grateful to Marshalls for their support and hard work to help deliver this fantastic piece of art.”

The memorial is made entirely from solid units of Scoutmoor Yorkstone and black granite, which have been engraved by our partners at Scribble Stone.
