We’re proud to share the news that Nick Sharpe, Managing Director of our domestic business, has been named a Supplier Influencer by the Builders Merchant Federation (BMF).

Nick has been with Marshalls since 2010, within his current role he oversees our domestic area including merchants, installers and small to medium house builders.
On hearing the news, Nick said:

“I’m delighted and proud to be nominated as a supplier influencer in this fantastic sector. Thank you to everyone who has supported both me and Marshalls.”

John Newcomb CEO of the BMF, said: “The BMF is proud to represent a building materials industry that encompasses merchants and their suppliers in equal measure, and recognise that merchants and suppliers are essentially two halves of the same whole.

“Shining a light on individuals who go above and beyond in their service to our industry, this new accolade will reflect the positive influence each of the individuals selected has both on the people around them and on the wider building materials industry.”

Initially joining Marshalls on the commercial side of the business before moving to domestic sales as a Key Account Manager, Nick held a number of different roles, before being made Managing Director in 2022.

Nick strives to keep developing the market-leading Marshalls product and service offer to bring innovation to the landscaping sector, in addition he is also a member of the BMF Young Merchants group.
