Training begins ahead of dual block plant opening

With our £24m investment into a new dual block plant almost complete, we recently flew some of the team to Denmark for an intense training programme.

The dual block plant, an addition to our existing site in St Ives, will increase capacity and product choice, whilst reducing lead times. The new machinery is sourced from outside the UK, and our teams are receiving extensive training.

From experienced Maintenance Engineers to newer members of the team, the group travelled to Denmark for five days of training by our supplier KVM. Whilst there, they did a mix of theoretical work, site visits and tours to give them a solid grounding ahead of production starting in late Autumn.

Stephen Leheup, Operations Team Manager, was part of the training and said “The training was a mix of practical and theoretical which made it relevant for everyone and also gave people with different skill sets a greater understanding of other roles which helps to build a more effective team.”
