Marshalls is excited to be hosting a range of activities, presentations, discussions and guest speakers at Clerkenwell Design Week from the 24-26 May.

The week’s events are taking place at Marshalls dedicated Design Space, located on Compton Street in the heart of Clerkenwell.

Marshalls’ line up of guest speakers include; Landscape Institute President Noel Farrer, public realm expert Sarah Gaventa, world renowned structural engineer Professor John Knapton, as well as leading SuDS expert and landscape architect Bob Bray.

Marshalls will also be launching a major research project which has identified the key trends which will shape the spaces we live in for years to come.

Available for people to drop in and have a go across the three days is the ‘School of Rock’ sculpting masterclass. This is being run by leading West Yorkshire based sculptor Mike Disley. Visitors are invited to drop in any time and spend a session learning how to create their own masterpiece out of stone.

Marshalls has over a Century of experience in stone and is transporting a range of its stone testing equipment from its lab in West Yorkshire down to London for the duration of the show. Visitors are invited to come along and interact with the machines to learn firsthand about the process of testing stone quality.

Marshalls experts will also be on hand to take visitors through its market leading range of hard landscaping , water management and street furniture products, including a range of brand new products for 2016.
