Fair Tax Week, which ran from 9–16 June, is a UK-wide recognition of companies and organisations that promote responsible tax conduct and pay their fair share of corporation tax. We’re very proud to be one of them, having received the Fair Tax Mark for the 10th time.
Since 2015, Marshalls has proudly displayed the Fair Tax Mark, which signifies that we pay the right amount of tax, at the right time, in the right place. This accreditation highlights our dedication to transparency and responsible business practices, reassuring stakeholders of our integrity.
Jo Holmes, Head of ESG Reporting, said: “Fair Tax is integral to Marshalls' strategy because we’re committed to supporting the economy and being a responsible business. We really value the process of getting accredited each year – it’s a great opportunity for us to look at our processes and see how we can do things even better.
Natasha Turner, Acting Head of Communications, Fair Tax Foundation, said, “Marshalls excel when it comes to tax governance and financial transparency, and we’re delighted to accredit them for the 10th time. It’s great to see the benefits of fair tax recognised right across the business, from the importance for different stakeholders to how it intersects with their sustainability goals."
In an era where consumers and investors are increasingly scrutinising corporate ethics, the Fair Tax Mark sets us apart. It helps build trust and credibility with our stakeholders, including customers, investors, and partners, reinforcing their commitment to ethical practices.
