We’re an accredited Living Wage employer, which means that our people receive Living Wage, not just the National Minimum Wage. The real Living Wage is the only rate independently calculated annually, based on the real cost of living.

Paying a Living Wage is without a doubt good for business, good for individuals and good for society. We know that having people who feel valued and properly rewarded allows us to deliver the best for our people, customers, partners and stakeholders.

Martyn Coffey, Chief Executive said: “As a responsible business, we want every single person in our workforce to earn a living wage as a minimum and we are very proud to be Living Wage accredited. It is quite simply the right thing to do.”

Our vision is to Create Better Spaces and Futures for Everyone: Socially, Environmentally and Economically. A part of this is ensuring the people who work for us are paid a real Living Wage. A wage that means they can live better lives and have better futures.

The campaign for a real Living Wage has now delivered more than £1 billion in extra wages to workers across the country since it began in 2001, and it has lifted over 200,000 people out of in-work poverty.

Paying the Living Wage is just one of the ways that we work responsibly.

We hold the Fair Tax Mark, work sustainably here in the UK and abroad and are known for the work we are doing to fight modern slavery.
