Prostate Cancer UK is Marshalls’ corporate charity for 2016, and is the UK’s largest men’s health charity, who aims to help more men survive prostate cancer and enjoy a better quality of life. They lead the way in providing prostate information to medical professionals, as well as investing millions of pounds into research and services for those affected by Prostate Cancer.
Already this year Marshalls has held events to raise awareness of prostate cancer, and help raise vital funds for the charity. Marshalls has already raised over £10,500 from a variety of activities such as bake sales, selling pin badges, and holding collections at awards events. Our Sales team’s car wash alone raised over £500!
Throughout the year there are many more events in the pipeline, and Marshalls is looking forward to working together to raise as much money as possible for this extremely worthwhile charity. Man vs BBQ events will be held at sites throughout the UK in June, and Marshalls has also entered a large team of over 100 employees into the Yorkshire Tough Mudder event in August.
The Marshalls Executive and Marshalls Register teams will be taking on the Yorkshire three peaks, and hopefully there will be as many Marshalls’ male employees as possible growing their mo’s for Movember!
